Voices from Our Community
Since attending OFL, [my son] has done a 100% turn-around. He gets A's and B's and is happy with his new school. What I like about OFL is he is teaching himself and is learning his way - what works for him.
Brooke S.,
Parent of OFL Alum
I enjoyed having the freedom to work on my own time and at my own pace. It allowed me to actually comprehend what I was being taught and made the learning process much more enjoyable overall.

OFL Alum

Charter schools are publicly funded schools operating independently of local public school systems, but are usually sponsored by an existing public school Board of Education. Charter schools must be non-sectarian and cannot charge tuition or discriminate by residency, race, religion, or economic status. Charter school staff and teachers are typically allowed more room for innovation in curriculum design and teaching methodology.
